Six Flags Great escape Indoor Waterpark

queensbury, ny

Dembling + Dembling Architects, P.C. (DDA) completed this project with an international design / build company.  DDA was responsible for the architectural construction documents for this 35,000 square foot facility. 

This sophisticated themed indoor aquatic park enables patrons to swim, lounge and sun themselves all four seasons.  Integration of a transparent roofing system allows 90% UV infiltration and excellent views of the panoramic mountains.

An intense, coordinated effort was required in-order to meet the schedule and the strict requirements of the local jurisdiction(s).  The implementation of a fast-track design and construction process allowed the developer to break ground and stay on schedule for a Fall 2005 opening.

This project was completed in Fall 2005.
