Who We are

DEMBLING + DEMBLING ARCHITECTS, P.C. (DDA) was established in 1992 by David and Daniel Dembling over lunch at a sandwich shop in Albany.  They decided to create an architectural firm whose mission is to provide quality, integrated problem solving design services through exceptional communication, cooperation, innovation and mutual respect.

Prior to establishing DEMBLING + DEMBLING ARCHITECTS, P.C., David Dembling (Co-Founder) was in government service and private practice for over 50 years.  25 years of government experience included management of major educational and institutional projects.

Private practice experience as principal architect in a nationally noted Architectural/Engineering firm included a wide range of projects from master planning and adaptive re-use to commercial and institutional, new and renovated buildings.  Mr. Dembling is a past President of the Eastern New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and current director ENY/AIA.

Daniel Dembling's (President / Co-Founder) experience has been primarily in commercial projects particularly public use facilities.  He worked for five years in New York City where he specialized in restaurant and retail design.  Daniel has been a member of the New York State Restaurant Association.  In addition, he is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
